Hey you guys!

First and foremost , I want to thank everyone for the tremendous love for these DIYs. Even though I manage these on my own and the pictures are not good enough you beautiful people love them all. I’ve been getting a lot of requests for more and some have even come up with suggestions! All this is really overwhelming. In case any of you has a request or an idea don’t forget to shoot it in! πŸ™‚

Moving on, lets talk about today’s DIY idea! So, I’ve been a huge lace fan since forever! We have all see the very famous DIY lace shorts, right? i know you have! I thought I’d give you some ideas on how these beautiful laces can be put to other uses!

First up are lace accessories!

Pre- requisites –

Pieces of lace of your choice!

Some Β titch/snap buttons!

Some thread and a needle!

I going to show you how to make a lace choker necklace! (Ikr, I am obsessed with these). Other pieces are made exactly the same way so I don’t need to mention the steps again and again. πŸ™‚

STEP 01.

Measure the amount of lace you are going to need. Like in this case just wrap it around your neck and cut the required amount!

STEP 02.

Place one part of the button on one end and start sewing it. You need not be an expert at sewing to do this.

STEP 03.

Repeat the same process on the other hand. Before you start, do make sure that you button is placed correctly. I once sewed it upside down myself! πŸ˜›

AND, youre done! Simple right? Super simple actually!

This way you can also make head bands, bracelets, anklets, necklaces and what not! πŸ˜€

The next idea I came up with was revamping my old or boring clothes with lace!

Here I have shown you two camisole tops which i gave a new look to.

STEP 01.

Choose an old camisole top and cut it from the bottom. I cut it because I wanted it to look like crop top. I you like you can do it without cutting it at all. πŸ™‚

STEP 02.

For this one, dont measure the lace before hand or atleast keep a fair margin.

STEP 03.

Start sewing the lace from one end taking a whole round back. Trust me i am not an expert at using needles but you dont have to be! Just go on. If you still feel you cant. you can ask a tailor to use his machine for you. OR you can also use fabric glue for the same! πŸ™‚

Once again, you’re done! Super easy a job. πŸ˜€

For the second one too you just need to sew the lace starting from the back of the string to forward – over the neck – and then back again!

This was it ladies, I hope you enjoyed this DIY too. Don’t forget to comment below and let me know of what you think. Keep pouring the love and I will keep coming with even better ideas. Until next time! πŸ™‚
