Hey guys,

What is the one thing you love about winters? The cozy blankets? The great booties? The large jackets? Well actually, there is nothing to not like. In a tropical country like India, we all love winters.

I have  been brought up in Nainital which is a hill station, so I have had a lot of winter and snow in my life but when I moved to Delhi and witnessed the extreme summers, I could see people literally pray for some chilly winds here in the capital. Trust me when I say this but it was only this Wednesday, that we people in Delhi have finally received signs of winter from God. That is the biggest reason why I am starting with my autumn/winter lookbook now. But yes, finally I am! Yayyyy.

So, among winter clothing, plaid shirts have always been among my top choices and guessing by the number of such shirts around in the season I am guessing they must be yours too.

Today on the blog, I am going to style this thrifted Ralph Lauren  plaid shirt in three ways! But that’s not it. I recently stumbled over this Instagram handle called Think Pink with a collection of some amazing bags that would make you drool. I received this Oxblood Marsala Fringe Clutch as they call it and you can literally see how much I love it in the pictures below. Like the shirt, I have played with the bag in three ways! Let’s get going.

(DISCLAIMER: Due to harsh sun light, the color of the bag looks a little on the pink tone but you can check the real color on their website that I will link below!)

LOOK 01. Rock and roll.

The first look is also my favorite one. It is the perfect autumn look when the chills have just started, the days are still warm.

I basically just wore the shirt over a pair of denim shorts and a camisole, buttoned the first one and styled it with a crazy big metal neck piece.

To add to the winter drama, I added a pair of thigh high socks, a pair of some great brown boots and I was good to go! OR no I wasn’t. For this one I carried the clutch without its belt to give a more carefree and casual vibe.

LOOK 02. Sweet Nothing

Who said you cant dress like a lady in a plaid shirt! Here, I added the shirt on top of my jersey skirt for a more feminine look.

The strappy little wedges and the bag now with its perfect gold sling belt, make the most flattering look possible. It is easy but well put and elegant at the same time.

LOOK 03: Finishing School

The look actually reminds me of how simple I was back in school and sometimes that’s who you want to be. Simple is always the best, so go cliche and wear your shirt with those favorite denims you have in your wardrobe, pair it all up with the perfect sneakers and voila!

This time, if you notice, I added my own belt to the bag and works perfectly. How good does it it feel to have a bag as versatile as yourself? Extremely good. Haha 😀
