Back in school, in the senior secondary, in English we had a chapter called Going Places. The story revolved around a girl, Sophie, who loved day dreaming and sometimes went a little too far. Her dreams started to look like realities to her and she was lost.
People who know me, know that I am another Sophie. Thankfully, I am also very practical and haven’t lost my touch to reality yet. But I often find myself stuck in thoughts that are way far from reality. This story is just about that, about how beautiful these parallel worlds, how surreal the time can get and just how perfectly imperfect it all is.
Brand in focus- Vajor
I have a very cosy relationship with Vajor. It is not a new relationship, and certainly not just another collaboration on my blog. I shopped from the brand long back, back when even the idea of blogging had not even stuck me. It’s more like both Vajor and I have grown together. And it is not just the clothes but also Vajor’s vision, how it moves with the changing roles and definitions of a woman, that’s where we connect.
The silhouettes are kept easy and comfortable. These are the kind of pieces you don’t need to master any styling course for. Just put the dress on and you’re good to go, hence all I did for the shoot was put on the pretty dresses and pose. Their latest collection ‘Earthy Quirk’ had my heart on it, the moment it landed and I knew I had to do something about it. So here I am, finding my way to another reality with Vajor.
